Teacher of Writing: An Overview
The Ohio Writing Project motto says it all, "Teachers Teaching Teachers." At the conclusion of this four week course, I have learned so many new ideas to take to my classroom and to my students. I have lists of ideas shared by K-12 teachers, that I can modify and apply for even my Kindergarten learners. Throughout this part of my portfolio, I will share with you the collections I have curated of mentor text, writing ideas, and incorporating joy into the classroom. I will also highlight changes I will be making to conferencing and unit production from past years. These shifts were all inspired by the powerful readings and demonstrations shared during my four week course with OWP.
